Becoming a Partner

What does it mean to be a partner of Nevada Healthy Living?
To successfully deliver evidence-based programs throughout Nevada, we need to work collaboratively with community-based organizations, healthcare systems, community health centers, senior centers, parks and recreation centers, employers, and providers. It will take the providers, staff and volunteers within these organizations to help spread the word about the benefits of Chronic Disease and Diabetes Self-Management Programs.
There are two types of partnerships with Nevada Healthy Living
Program Partners are agencies, who have clients or patients that would benefit from participating in Healthy Living Workshops. Supporting Partners are organizations or individuals who are committed to health promotion and disease prevention activities and who help promote or refer people to the program.
Our QTAC Advisory Council consists of key stakeholders, community partners, master trainers, t-trainers, program coordinators, grantors, and lay leaders who shape our work. Web-based meetings are held quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month. If you are interested in being part of this council please contact us.
