Chronic Pain Self-Management Programs

Two free Chronic Pain workshops are available in early 2021
Workshop A: Tuesdays, Feb. 2 through March 16, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Workshop B: Wednesdays, March 10 through April 21, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Where: It’s online! The workshop will be given via Zoom videoconference.
During this six-week workshop you will learn:
Skills to help you maintain a wellness focus and improve your quality of life
Techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation and poor sleep
Strategies for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility and endurance
Appropriate use of medications
Decision making and problem solving
Who should participate in Chronic Pain Self Management?
Adults experiencing pain from a variety of causes, and care partners of those with pain. Causes can include:
Neck, shoulder, back pain, etc.
Post-surgical pain that lasts beyond 6 months
Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Any general chronic pain
